Inspiration:
Linda wanted to create something special for her daughter’s using a few of her own diamond stones. Each daughter had a favorite mountain, including Longs Peak, Vail, and Denali.
Longs Peak is the northernmost fourteener in Colorado, and can be seen from all around the metro area of Denver. It’s one of the more treacherous hikes along the front range, including scrambling boulders and navigating 1,000 sheer cliffs. Fun fact: its featured on the Colorado state quarter!
Design:
For this mountain ring, we created a split shank style of the peak. I kept the focus right at the peak. as it’s a prominent feature. I kept the bottom of the ring nice and simple so it wouldn’t distract from the top. Since I created the ring in sterling silver, I placed the diamond in a secure bezel setting.
This Longs Peak mountain ring is a beautiful tribute to our Colorado 14ers!
